Roster of 2024 Officers

At the time of each meeting, any in-effect Ohio Department of Health guidelines will be followed.

Our chapter was established in 1974 by a group of over 60 stitchers eager to share their skills and knowledge with others. With currently over 40 member stitchers, our guild draws membership from the greater Youngstown area, western Pennsylvania and outlying localities.

We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month from January to November at the Rotary Fair Park Community Building, 82-82 Fair Street, Canfield, Ohio. Our meeting time is 10:00 a.m. with a general meeting follow by a monthly program. In the case of winter weather, if Canfield Schools are closed, the meeting is cancelled. Members are asked to use their discretion if schools are delayed.

Please note: There is usually no November meeting, but the membership is invited to a stitch-in beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Each meeting regularly includes a class or presentation on a particular form of needlework suitable for beginners or experienced stitchers.

Guests of any skill level are always welcome. Non-members may attend up to two meetings as a guest. Membership dues are $73.00 annually.

Our guild has an extensive library of reference materials for all types of needlework. These materials are available for check-out by our members and our library is located at the local needlework shop, With Needle in Hand. Here is a list of items in our library. See Library Listing New materials are often added, so please feel free to check the shelves!

Come visit at any meeting or contact us at info@youngstown-ega.com to request more information about our guild.
